Hazel Crest, IL (PRWEB) April 10, 2009 -- On April 12, 1963, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was arrested for breaking an Alabama injunction against demonstrations in Birmingham. "Letter From A Birmingham Jail" is Dr. King's response to the criticism.

It's been 45 years since the creation of one his most significant and prolific manuscripts. Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event is free for all ages! Refreshments served. Grande Prairie Public Library is located at 3479 W. 183rd Street, Hazel Crest, IL. Tel. 708-798-5563.
