Phoenix patients enjoy life, security of in-home care

At 95 and 93 respectively, Dayle and Hazel Rasberry enjoy every day living life together. Though they met in the fourth grade, it wasn’t until both were in their 80’s that they tied the knot after being reacquainted at a high school reunion.“He called and asked if he could come see me,” recalls Hazel, who had been a widow for about 10 years at the time. She said yes, and soon after the two were married and decided to live in Lubbock where they could enjoy all the city has to offer.Today, Hazel and Dayle live in a lovely home and enjoy life to the fullest with the assistance of home health aide services from Phoenix Home Care.The couple first sampled the staff’s personalized care services as residents of Phoenix House, an assisted living facility with two locations in Lubbock.
